Stella Chimwemwe Ng’oma 
Director of Investment Promotion and Facilitation
 

Ms. Stella Chimwemwe Ng’oma, an executive business professional is the Director of Investment Promotion and Facilitation at the Malawi Investment and Trade Centre (MITC). The Malawi Investment and Trade Centre (MITC) is a Government Agency whose mandate is to promote and facilitate trade and investments in Malawi. Stella’s role therefore is to promote and facilitate both foreign and domestic investments in Malawi. 

Stella has over 20 years experience in international business and trade, strategic business management, business development, business analytics and marketing, having worked in diverse industries both in Malawi and United States of America. Industries she has worked in include Oil and Gas, Health Services, Print and Packaging, FMCG and Economic Services. 

Stella holds an MBA in International Business and Trade, with a concentration in Sustainability obtained from Brandeis University International Business School, United States of America. She also holds a Certificate in Investment Facilitation for Sustainable Development from the International Training Centre (ILO) Executive IPA College. 

Currently, Stella is a member of the SADC Investment Sub-committee, a Committee within the SADC- Secretariat that looks at domestication of the SADC protocol on investment within the region.
